In 2016, MAXD CEO and Founder Chris Ashenden created Fundación Da Alegría, inspired by his deep commitment to health and nutrition. During a visit to Medellín, Chris witnessed firsthand the limited access to proper nutrition for children in low-income households. Motivated to make a difference, he established the foundation to provide support and nourishment to those in need. Since its beginning, MAXD has proudly stood behind Fundación Da Alegría and its mission.
Urban Light is a cause that holds a special place in MAXD ’s heart. As a company built on empowerment and putting people first, it’s only natural for us to support an organization like Urban Light. Founded in 2012, Urban Light was established to protect, restore, and empower boys in Chiang Mai who have been victims of trafficking and exploitation. Through emergency services, care, and long-term support, they shine hope where it’s needed most—and we’re proud to stand with them in bringing light to places of darkness.
