The ingredients that power MAXD

We believe you shouldn’t compromise with uncertain ingredients in your daily supplement. That’s why every ingredient in MAXD is carefully chosen for superior absorption and nutrient richness, and blended to deliver peak effectiveness

Support:*

- Long-Lasting Power
- Immune protection
- Mental focus4
- Stress and mood equilibrium
- Daily nutrient intake

MAXD supplies essential minerals in a highly absorbable and usable form. In a recent in vitro study, MAXD delivered 4.4 times more minerals than a standard multivitamin and mineral tablet.‡

Support:*

- Long-Lasting Power
- Immune protection
- Mental focus4
- Stress and mood equilibrium
- Daily nutrient intake

In a controlled laboratory study using a simulated digestive tract model (SHIME), MAXD powder outperformed a multivitamin tablet in delivering absorbable nutrients. The research was conducted on an earlier version of MAXD’s continuously improving formula. The findings are applicable to the current formula due to the consistent delivery format (powder versus tablet).

Wellness begins in the gut. That's why MAXD includes beneficial bacteria commonly found in a healthy digestive system. In a recent clinical trial, MAXD was proven to increase gut-friendly bacteria levels by more than twofold.

Includes:*

- Scientific shorthand: B. bifidum
- Simplified form: Acidophilus

Data on file, 2023. A double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled clinical study was conducted in 30 healthy adults over a 1-month period. The trial evaluated an earlier version of MAXD’s continuously improving formulation. The findings remain applicable to the current formula since the levels of Lactobacillus acidophilus and Bifidobacterium bifidum have not been altered.

MAXD is made with nutrient-rich whole food ingredients and includes a unique mushroom blend featuring reishi and shiitake. These natural, food-based components also help supply essential vitamins and minerals.

Other Ingredients

Artichoke

Artichokes are low in fat, high in fibre, and full of essential nutrients like magnesium and potassium. Fun fact: Ever noticed that water tastes sweet after eating artichokes? That’s because artichokes contain chlorogenic acid and cynarin, which temporarily block your tongue’s sweet taste receptors. When you drink water afterwards, it “tricks” your brain into sensing a sweetness that isn’t really there.

Astragalus

Astragalus has a long history in traditional Chinese medicine, where its root is frequently turned into dietary supplements.

Broccoli

Broccoli, part of the cruciferous vegetable family, is a genuine nutrient-rich superfood. It’s loaded with vitamins C, K, and A, along with fibre and essential minerals such as potassium, calcium, and iron. It also provides health-promoting plant compounds like phenolic acids, carotenoids, and glucosinolates. These sulfur-based substances are responsible for broccoli’s unique aroma.

Burdock Root

Burdock root is a plant originally found in northern Asia and Europe. Its long taproots range in color from light beige to dark brown, nearly black on the surface. For centuries, burdock has been valued as both food and medicine, especially in traditional Chinese practices.

Chlorella

Chlorella is a freshwater microalgae, a single-celled plant organism known for its rich nutrient profile. It contains essential polyunsaturated fatty acids, complete proteins, vital vitamins, minerals, and powerful plant compounds such as carotenoids.

Citric Acid

Citric acid is a natural acid, often mistaken for lemon juice itself (though lemon juice contains about eight percent of it). It was first extracted from lemon juice in 1784. In MAXD, citric acid functions as an antioxidant, supporting the stability of vitamins and minerals. It also appears in citrate forms—such as zinc citrate and calcium citrate—which play a role in enhancing mineral absorption.

Dandelion Root

Dandelions hold a special place in childhood memories, yet they’re far more than a playful plant. For centuries, dandelion root has been valued in traditional use. It provides vitamin C, vitamin A precursors, and vitamin K, along with important minerals such as potassium, magnesium, and phosphorus. The root is also rich in inulin, a natural dietary fibre.

Goji Berry

The wolfberry, also called the goji berry (Lycium fruit extract), is a well-known food native to Asia. In addition to providing fibre, vitamins, and minerals, these berries are rich in phytochemicals such as carotenoids and phenolic compounds.

Hawthorn Berry

Hawthorn has long been valued as both a food and a tea ingredient throughout history. The white-blossomed shrub is often seen in gardens. Its bright red berries look similar to rose hips — and, just like rose hips, they are safe to eat. These berries are packed with vitamins, pectin, and beneficial plant compounds like flavonoids.

Kelp

If you enjoy Japanese food, you’ve probably encountered kelp, a variety of seaweed. Scientifically referred to as Fucus vesiculosis, this deep brown to olive-green algae thrives in cool, clear oceans where it creates thick underwater forests. Kelp is best known for its high iodine content, but it also provides vitamin K, calcium, and folate.

Milk Thistle

Milk thistle is a herbal plant valued for more than 2,000 years, with its fruits and seeds traditionally used. It contains natural compounds collectively called silymarin.

Pea Protein

Peas are a nutrient-dense food, providing protein, carbohydrates, and dietary fibre. Pea protein is obtained by extracting it from peas and delivers almost all the essential amino acids — the ones our bodies cannot make on their own and must be supplied through food.

Rose Hip

Many know rose hips from teas or jams, but not everyone realises what they hold inside. Their bright orange-red hue comes from carotenoids such as lycopene and beta-carotene, and they’re also rich in vitamin C.

Rosemary

Rosemary, with its slender, needle-shaped leaves, looks much like a tiny pine tree. It carries a sharp, slightly bitter fragrance, and when fresh, its scent is reminiscent of pine or spruce. Rich in iron and calcium, rosemary also provides beneficial plant compounds such as terpenoids, essential oils, alkaloids, and flavonoids.

Slippery Elm Bark Powder

Easily identified by its dark brown to reddish bark, the slippery elm can reach heights of more than 20 metres. Traditionally, Native Americans harvested the inner, sticky red bark from its twigs and branches for a variety of purposes.

Spinach

Spinach may not be the legendary “iron powerhouse” it was once thought to be (Popeye would agree), but it still delivers impressive nutrition. Packed with B vitamins and vitamin C, and abundant in beta-carotene—the precursor to vitamin A—it’s a quiet hero in MAXD. Spinach also supplies essential minerals like potassium, calcium, magnesium, and iron.

Stevia

MAXD uses a pure extract from the stevia rebaudiana leaf, which does not impact blood sugar levels.

ADDITIONAL INFO

What this means

Nutrient levels and biomarkers are key indicators of how well your body is functioning. Because everyone’s biology is unique, it’s important to track how well nutrients are actually being used in the body.

We looked at the impact of MAXD on key biomarkers compared to diet alone, and found that MAXD made a measurable difference.
